Magid Sergey Ignatyevich, Doctor of Engineering, Professor, expert in thermal power engineering and applied mathematics, honored power engineer of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Director General of JSC TEST.

Worked at the Central Boiler and Turbine Institute, in the ORGRES Trust, in Mosenergo, at the Moscow State Open University, in the Academy of Industrial Ecology, in the UNESCO.

Took part in launch and development of 150, 200, 250, 300, 800 MW power units at power plants of Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Baltic states and Kazakhstan. Honored power engineer of the Russian Federation. Honored power engineer of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Sergey Ignatyevich Magid began to be involved in development of simulators for power plants in 1979 on assignment of administration of the Energy Ministry and Mosenergo. Author of a number of papers and inventions in construction of simulators and mathematical modelling of equipment and processes of thermal and electric power plants.

Magid S.I. is a full member of the Academy of Industrial Ecology.
