Abstract
The way of increasing the energy efficiency of a centrifugal pump based on the use of random pitch impeller system ensuring integral increase in the pump efficiency in the operating area has been reviewed. The pump operation modes and its operating conditions in which this upgrade method ensures a maximum positive result have been specified. The experimental data confirming efficiency of this method has been shown.
