Выполнен анализ предпосылок развития и современного состояния атомной энергетики в Индии. Рассмотрены факторы, как способствующие, так и сдерживающие развитие атомной энергетики в стране. Проведена оценка ключевых тенденций и перспектив развития атомной отрасли Индии.

The article analyzes the prerequisites for the development of nuclear power in India to its current positions. The author describes both supporting and constraining factors for the nuclear power development and presents key trends and prospects of the nuclear industry in India.
